I think great integrityis the most important dutyin public service.
Because it must be the standardduty of all public service.
The reasons are as follow:
Without integrity, you cannot pursuethe public interestwhen performing duties.
Also you might disobeyyour boss, if it does not matchyour own profit.
If you don’t have integrity, You will never get the truthfrom Seoul citizen.
In other words, working without integrity is like building a house on sand.
As you know, there can be a riskwhenever you behavewithout having basic rule.
Therefore, you can never overemphasizethe valueof integrity.
제가 생각하는 공직의 의무 중 가장 중요하다고 생각하는 것은 청렴이라고 생각합니다.
왜냐하면 청렴은 모든 공직의무의 기본이 된다고 생각하기 때문입니다.
그 이유는 다음과 같습니다.
청렴이 없다면, 업무를 수행할 때 공익을 추구할 수 없습니다.
또한 개인의 이익추구에 따라 상사의 지시를 따르지 않을 수도 있습니다.
청렴한 자세가 없다면, 서울 시민들로 부터 신뢰를 받을 수 없습니다.
청렴이 없이 일하는 것은 모래위에 집을 쌓는 것과 같기 때문입니다.
기본이 튼튼하지 못한 행동은 언제든지 위험성이 있기 마련입니다.
그렇기에 청렴은 아무리 강조해도 지나치지 않다고 생각합니다.
